There are tons of options for adding documents to a compressed file. If you right-click on an uncompressed file, you can easily add it to a compressed file. If you right-click on a compressed file in a supported format (7z, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CPIO, RPM, or DEB), you'll see a series of options, such as decompressing directly in the file's directory or decompressing in a separate folder. Once you've installed 7-Zip, you can use it directly from the context menu by right-clicking on any file, whether it's compressed or not. Once you install it on your computer, you can use it personally and professionally without restrictions of any kind. Unlike other similar programs, you don't need to register or purchase 7-Zip in order to use it.
